This track starts from the same shared technology foundation (computer fundamentals, the command line, Git & GitHub, HTML & CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and developer tooling) and then moves into backend specialization: Node.js, databases, SQL, GraphQL, APIs, authentication & authorization, backend testing, and production deployment.

Your programming starting point: computer fundamentals, the command line, and version control with Git and GitHub.
Building web pages with HTML and CSS; from semantic structure to layout and responsive design.
Learn the web's core language deeply: syntax, functions, the DOM, and async programming.
Professional-scale JavaScript development with TypeScript and modern tooling.
Running JavaScript on the server with Node.js: modules, tooling, and your first services.
Server-side architecture fundamentals: models, routing, and scalable project structure.
Designing and working with databases: data modeling, relations, and transactions.
Querying, filtering, and managing data with SQL.
Flexible, well-documented APIs with the GraphQL query language.
Designing and building practical REST APIs with proper documentation and versioning.
Securing user access: authentication, tokens, roles, and authorization.
Unit and integration testing for backend services and APIs.
Shipping applications safely to production: containers, CI/CD, and monitoring.
