A 26-week roadmap that takes you from zero to junior frontend developer: from HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to TypeScript, React, and Next.js — then AI-assisted development and shipping a real product. Every stage is project-based and assessed through two gates and a capstone project.
Syllabus
Your programming starting point: computer fundamentals, the command line, and version control with Git and GitHub.
Building web pages with HTML and CSS; from semantic structure to layout and responsive design.
Learn the web's core language deeply: syntax, functions, the DOM, and async programming.
Professional-scale JavaScript development with TypeScript and modern tooling.
Learn React and its ecosystem (weeks 16–22): components, Tailwind, TanStack Query, React Hook Form and Zod, testing, and Next.js — followed by Project 4 and the Capstone Project. This module is assessed at the React Gate in week 20.
From week 22: agentic, AI-assisted development — using AI coding assistants to write and improve code while keeping a deep understanding of the concepts.
Making a product ready to ship (across the program and its final stage): accessibility, performance, SEO, security, and deployment.
